• Account tier (free or paid)

Game Data

If you have a Pro subscription, completed games are saved to our servers. This includes:

• Game mode (2-player, 4-player teams, 4-player singles)
• Player or team names you enter
• Round-by-round scores and the final result
• Game start and completion timestamps

Free-tier users play locally. No game data is transmitted to our servers.

Usage and Technical Data

We may automatically collect basic technical data to keep the App running, including:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Crash reports and error logs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Authenticate you securely using JSON Web Tokens (JWT)
• Store and retrieve your game history (Pro users only)
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Respond to support requests and inquiries
• Diagnose bugs and improve App performance
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data to serve advertisements.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Payment processors — to handle Pro subscription billing. They receive only the data necessary to complete the transaction.
• Email service providers — to send transactional emails (e.g., password setup, account notifications).
• Law enforcement or regulators — if required by applicable law or to protect our legal rights.

All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Game history is retained as long as you hold a Pro subscription.

If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to certain types of processing

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Passwords hashed using bcrypt before storage

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

7. Children's Privacy

Domino Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
